November 20th is the National Teacher day in Vietnam. On this day, students of all ages will gather together to visit their teachers with flowers and presents. This practice is to show the traditional respect for teacher which is considered the noblest of all jobs in Vietnam. It is really interesting and inspiring to observe small, 10 or even 5-6 year old pupil carrying bunches of flowers with expecting faces for their turn. As the level of study moves up, this practice takes a rather more commercial sense. Yet, the beautiful meaning of it remains as ever.

Pho co is going to have national certificate for antique relics, but residents here are so sad because there is literally no old street left to preserve: the old quater streets have been deformed.
Here there are houses over 30 years of age never being restored for once. Over ten families share the same 80- centimeter wide path,some have to turn on the light all day and night because of the grudging gloom.
The state of modern and old buildings fighting each other, and along with that, poor living conditions for old house residents require urgent action from the government.It, after all, was rather too late.

To make our website a real active one, which could popularize our country, I would propose an idea of a small section inlcluded in our website. the namely ( for now) "understanding Vietnam" section will include your writing about many aspects of Vietnam. Sound full of big words, right? but it could be anything, as simple as the fish sauce. I know the idea of fish sauce could drive many foreigners sick but it is in fact extremely popular in our country, and there is an art of mixing fish sauce. And other sorts of things.
